Job Overview

• Company: Bartelt Inc.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $35 to $45+ per hour (Based on experience).
• Location: Menomonee Falls, WI (Projects throughout Southern Wisconsin).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed).
• Project Scope: High-End Residential Remodeling and Custom Homes.
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.

The Opportunity You will serve as a premier craftsman and field leader, executing architecturally significant projects that define luxury living in Southern Wisconsin. This role empowers you to lead a seasoned crew while working alongside top-tier designers to transform complex blueprints into masterfully built residential realities.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Direct a skilled crew of carpenters to execute high-precision rough carpentry across all project phases.
• Oversee the installation of specialized exterior elements, including windows, doors, siding, soffit, and fascia.
• Interpret and translate complex architectural blueprints into exact field measurements and structural framing.
• Coordinate seamlessly with in-house designers and subcontractors to maintain Bartelt’s standards of integrity.
• Maintain an organized and safe job site that reflects the company’s reputation for professional excellence.
• Execute technical solutions for on-site challenges to ensure projects remain on schedule and within design intent.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of lead carpentry experience specifically within residential construction and remodeling.
• Proven ability to lead a team of carpenters while maintaining high levels of self-motivation and reliability.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed construction documents and architectural drawings.
• Strong technical understanding of framing, general building techniques, and exterior envelope systems.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a consistent record of professional site representation.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in high-end, luxury residential builds with a focus on architectural integrity.
• Extensive background in specialty exterior installations and complex structural remodeling.
• Proven track record of mentoring junior carpenters to elevate the team’s overall craftsmanship.
