How You'll Make An Impact In This Role
- Staff Leadership & Oversight: Directed, educated, and monitored nursing and support staff during assigned shifts to ensure seamless clinical operations and high-quality care.
- Performance Management: Contributed to staff development by conducting performance evaluations and providing input on hiring, training, and professional growth.
- Patient Care Allocation: Assessed daily patient needs to develop and distribute equitable, population-appropriate care assignments for the nursing team.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluated the effectiveness of patient care, pro-actively identifying and resolving systemic issues to optimize clinical outcomes.
- Conflict Resolution: Managed and resolved patient care complaints efficiently through established institutional channels to maintain high patient satisfaction.
What Minimum Requirements You'll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
