Procurement Specialist

Job Description Procurement Specialist is needed for a sporting goods importer and manufacturer located in Gardena, CA. Responsibilities Maintain a strong professional relationship and communicate effectively with overseas suppliers and company management. Coordinate with logistics to bring products into our distribution warehouses or direct import to customers' distribution centers. Negotiate with a wide variety of vendors on a daily basis. Support cross-functional teams such as Sales, Logistics, Operations, and A/P. Coordinate sample evaluations, label and material compliance, and other administrative work. Create demand and inventory forecast based on seasonal and annual sales trends. Communicate effectively with management on purchasing requirements and create purchase orders as needed. QC and evaluate all product specifications and details to company standards. Update inventory and pricing as needed. Track inventory in all warehouse locations. Assist with freight and transportation arrangements as needed. Other related responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Bilingual in Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking). 1+ years of experience as a buyer or purchasing role. Experience in supply chain management. Experience working with forwarders and freight companies. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel. Strong attention to detail and highly organized. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Experience with Sage 100 is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
