Seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to provide critical support to students across multiple locations in the Fort Myers area. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated individuals who thrive in educational settings and have a passion for helping students succeed. You’ll play a vital role in testing, conducting assessments, report writing, and supporting IEP meetings for a diverse range of children and adolescents throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise with assessments and educational testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding report writing and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to multiple assignments across campuses

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students
• Prepare thorough, timely reports to support special education eligibility and planning
• Participate in IEP meetings as an integral member of the team
• Partner closely with other educators, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Provide expertise across varying campuses as part of an itinerant assignment
