Hotel Front Desk Associate

Overview We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented professional to join our team and create a welcoming experience for every guest. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing attentive service, handling front desk operations, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and committed to delivering excellent guest service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression upon arrival and departure. Check guests in and out efficiently while verifying reservation details and room assignments. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with reservations or changes as needed. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, policies, and local attractions. Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care. Process payments, maintain accurate records, and balance the cash drawer or front desk account when required. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest satisfaction. Monitor lobby activity and follow hotel procedures to help maintain a safe and orderly environment. Maintain an organized front desk area and complete shift logs, reports, and other administrative tasks. Qualifications Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain professional, courteous, and composed in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and comfort using reservation or property management systems. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine front desk duties. Preferred Attributes Positive attitude and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
