Job Title : Electrical Assembly Technician Location: San Antonio, TX 78220 Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension) Shift Options: 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM Job Summary We are seeking motivated Electrical Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team in San Antonio, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on manufacturing experience while working with electrical components, control panels, and industrial equipment. In this role, you will assemble and wire transformers, PLC systems, control panels, and electrical devices by following engineering drawings and established manufacturing procedures. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire PLC transformers, microprocessors, and junction boxes. Build and wire electrical control panels using engineering drawings and schematics. Perform conduit layout and installation in accordance with NEC and UL standards. Identify, install, and wire electrical devices on manufactured units. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and P&ID diagrams. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tape, and electrical equipment safely. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards. Required Qualifications Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, manufacturing, or industrial electrical work preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. Understanding of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) is preferred. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, electrical equipment, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently walk, bend, reach, pull, grasp, and climb. Occasionally crawl and sit as needed.
