Make a meaningful impact this school year by providing crucial support to students from preschool through eighth grade, all within a welcoming and collaborative campus environment. This contract position is located in the Phoenix area and offers the opportunity to work full-time—40 hours per week—helping to shape young lives and support educational success in diverse elementary and middle school settings. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the current academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Arizona
• Experience working with both early childhood (preschool) and K-8 student populations
• Familiarity with educational evaluations, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication skills when collaborating with educators, families, and students
• Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to navigate a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for referred students and interpret findings for educational teams
• Develop and participate in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
• Support students’ mental health and behavioral needs through direct services and consultation
• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to foster safe, supportive classroom environments
• Engage with families to promote student well-being and facilitate home-school partnerships
• Ensure all documentation and reporting are completed accurately and in compliance with school and state guidelines
