Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference this summer by supporting students’ communication development in a collaborative school-based environment. This flexible, short-term opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who enjoys making an impact in students’ lives.
You’ll provide speech and language therapy services during Extended School Year (ESY) programming, working with middle and high school students (grades 6–12) focusing primarily on life skills and autistic support. Paraprofessionals will be present with each student, offering an extra layer of support as you deliver engaging sessions.
What You’ll Need:
- Active and current SLP license in Pennsylvania
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience with school-based speech therapy and supporting students with autism or life skills needs
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 3 or 4 individual 30-minute speech therapy sessions per week (totaling 4–6 hours weekly)
- Facilitate 3 group therapy sessions for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain clear and timely documentation
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and education teams to support student goals
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday mornings, July 6–July 23, 2026
