Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.14 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment for employees, contractors, and guests. Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
