Job Title

RN – Emergency Room / Med Surg

Location

Quanah, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, shift report at 6:45 AM) | Rotating weekends required | Block scheduling available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care in a combined Emergency Room and Med Surg setting within a critical access facility
• Administer IV therapy, medications, and perform glucose monitoring
• Perform and interpret EKGs
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3
• Document patient care accurately using CPSI charting system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg and/or Emergency Room nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Proficiency in IV insertion, EKG interpretation, medication administration, and glucose checks
• Ability to provide total patient care independently
• Willingness to work a rotating weekend schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with CPSI electronic health records system
