Community Assistant

Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, and guests, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Assist residents with inquiries, concerns, and requests, serving as a knowledgeable resource on community policies and campus services. Participate actively in leasing and marketing efforts including outreach, social media strategy, tours, and handling inquiries. Develop and implement community activities and events to foster engagement and social connections. Perform administrative duties such as managing resident records, coordinating room assignments, move-ins, and move-outs. Promote safety by enforcing community policies, reporting maintenance and safety issues, and assisting with emergency protocols. Collaborate with staff and support Resident Directors to ensure smooth community operations. Participate in the apartment “turn” process and other duties as assigned based on community needs. About You The company is looking for candidates with: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups. Leadership abilities to motivate and mentor others. Effective teamwork skills and strong organizational and time management capabilities. Knowledge of or willingness to learn campus resources and services. Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software applications. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, special events, and be on-call for emergencies. Good standing account if currently a resident. Compensation & Benefits Compensation at $12 per hour. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequently required to stand and walk; continually required to sit, talk, hear, and use hand and finger dexterity.
