TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Rochester, New York, 14626!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: New York license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CGRN preferred Must-Have: 1 year of experience in endoscopy Experience with administering conscious sedation and IV placements Competency in phlebotomy Description: This position involves 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Days off will vary based on department needs. The department cannot guarantee the same day off every week or for Mondays and Fridays. On-call requirements include weeknights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 4-6 shifts a month. Travel to Pre-Anesthesia and PACU is required if needed. Patient diagnoses include procedural based conditions such as pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, gastric cancer, polyps, Barrett's esophagus, and CBD stones. Special procedures in this specialty include EUS, ERCP, navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, manometry, and fibroscan. RNs must have mandatory competency in phlebotomy as well as IV placement, as this is a required skill. Special equipment used includes ERBE, Olympus scopes, processors, Super-D, Bravo, VCE, and manometry. Candidates will be floating as required. Experience with EPIC charting system is a hard requirement. An interdisciplinary support team will be available, including IV teams and pharmacy.
