In the evening hours, relax poolside with refreshing island cocktails as the sun sets on another glorious day.

What You'll Do

The Host/ess creates a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of service throughout the dining experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and communicate restaurant offerings, daily specials, and menu information to ensure a seamless and welcoming dining experience
• Escort guests to their tables, communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service team, and maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles to deliver personalized, anticipatory service
• Support dining room operations by clearing and sanitizing tables, resetting place settings, replenishing guest amenities, maintaining side stations, and ensuring all guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting areas, menus, and reservation systems while ensuring all materials meet appearance standards
• Professionally answer phones, manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and address concerns or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence
• Assist service team members as needed to support efficient restaurant operations and an exceptional guest experience throughout service periods

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card is required for this role
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
