Senior Associate Corporate Development

CarterPierce is partnering with a leading, highly acquisitive professional services platform to hire a Senior Associate to join its U.S. Strategic Investments team. This is a unique opportunity to operate in a visible, high-impact role at the center of a dynamic M&A engine, working directly with senior leadership and playing a key role in driving inorganic growth. This individual will be involved across the full deal lifecycle—from sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities to structuring, executing, and supporting integration. The role offers meaningful responsibility early, with a clear path to Director in the near term and the ability to independently lead transactions over time. The position also provides exposure to broader strategic initiatives and interaction with executive leadership across the organization. Key Responsibilities Source and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic growth priorities Build and manage a pipeline of targets; support outreach and relationship development across industry participants Lead financial analysis, modeling, and diligence efforts (including quality of earnings and deal structuring considerations) Execute transactions end-to-end, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors Support post-acquisition integration and broader strategic initiatives Ideal Background ~5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory (with a strong preference for financial due diligence experience) Strong understanding of private company M&A mechanics (e.g., working capital, closing adjustments, deal structuring) Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to distill complex concepts into clear insights High EQ with the ability to engage effectively across executives, operators, and business owners Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow within a high-performance environment #J-18808-Ljbffr CarterPierce, INC.
