Job Summary Occupation: Treasurers and Controllers Location: Gatlinburg, TN - 37738 Job Type: Full Time (30 Hours or More) Posted: 09/29/2026 Gatlinburg SkyPark is seeking a proven leader in accounting and finance to join the Executive Team and help support the park's mission of creating unforgettable Smoky Mountain adventures for our guests — from the SkyLift and record-setting SkyBridge to our trails, dining, and retail experiences. The Controller is a key leadership role responsible for directing all financial and accounting activities while supporting the achievement of revenue, income, and guest service objectives. This full-time, year-round position reports to the General Manager (with dotted-line reporting to the corporate accounting group) and serves as a contributing member of the Boyne Resorts company-wide finance and accounting team. Essential Responsibilities Lead planning and budget processes for Gatlinburg SkyPark to achieve organizational financial goals across all park operations (attractions/admissions, food & beverage, and retail) Prepare monthly balance sheets, P&L statements, capital budgets, and ROIs Provide timely financial reviews and forecasting to senior management Lead and support cross-functional team members who assist with daily accounting, bookkeeping workflows, and month-end closes processes Contribute as a member of the Boyne Resorts finance and accounting team, including the company-wide annual audit Maintain banking relationships Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Participate as a senior staff member contributing finance perspectives to strategic decisions Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards Drive transformation initiatives or process improvements through technology Oversee cash handling, admissions/ticketing revenue controls, and reconciliation across all point-of-sale locations Leadership & Management Supervise and support cross-functional team members to meet departmental goals Establish departmental standards, guidelines, and objectives Maintain a guest-focused culture across all areas of responsibility, while ensuring strong controls Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred) Minimum 7 years progressive experience in finance and accounting Strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, and Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with experience assembling and reviewing financial statements Experience with point-of-sale, ticketing/admissions, and enterprise accounting software Excellent communication and presentation skills for all organizational levels Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities Ability to be on-site in Gatlinburg, TN for this leadership role Preferred Experience Attraction, tourism, or hospitality industry background Experience with ticketing/admissions systems Working with multiple point-of-sale systems Additional Information Occupation Information for Treasurers and Controllers #J-18808-Ljbffr SC Works
