RN (Registered Nurse), Cardiac Cath Lab

Shift: 10H Days Monday-Friday 0700-1730 +call

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab will circulate cases including administering medications/sedation and monitoring patients through procedures. The RN may also monitor or scrub if trained to do so during a variety of cardiac, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and sedation during procedures.
• Monitor patients through various procedural steps.
• Assist with charting and documentation using EMR systems.
• Work collaboratively with a team during procedures.

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
• 2-3 years of experience in interventional radiology and cath lab preferred.
• Familiarity with charting systems such as Cerner and Merge preferred.
• Ability to respond to call requirements within 30 minutes.
