Authorium Project Lead

Compensation $6,623.00 - $8,290.00 per Month. New‑to‑state candidates hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of an alternate range when applicable. Job Overview This Analyst III serves as the department’s primary technical expert and lead specialist for the implementation of the Authorium enterprise contracts and purchasing platform. The role leads a high‑visibility, multi‑phase system‑modernization effort, collaborating across various CDPH divisions. The Analyst translates procurement needs into system requirements, configurations, workflows, and implementation activities, ensuring a consistent, effective, and statewide‑aligned implementation. Responsibilities Lead and independently manage comprehensive project planning, communication, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination for each phase of the Authorium rollout. Develop, maintain, and interpret advanced dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting to monitor readiness, adoption, training progress, and utilization trends. Lead and support development and delivery of specialized training and guidance materials, ensuring staff statewide understand new processes, system functionality, and procedural expectations. Serve as liaison among Program Support Division, Operational Support Services, Contracts & Purchasing, Information Technology Services Division, Administration, Operations, Director’s Office, and the Authorium implementation team. Provide advanced guidance on policies, business rules, and procurement standards to ensure consistent implementation. Key Qualifications Minimum requirements are listed in the Class Specification.
