Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
ICU Nurse – Critical Care
Nights 1900–0730; 36- or 48-hour shifts available. At least 6 weekend shifts required every 6-week period.
Assignment Details
This position will float to various units including MS/Tele/PCU, Overflow PACU, and Stepdown as needed.
Requirements
- Active California RN license at time of submission.
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Proficient in pulmonary artery (PA) line/Swan-Ganz experience.
- Charting experience with Epic preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity nursing care to patients in various critical care settings.
- Utilize advanced monitoring techniques and manage complex medical interventions.
- Administer medications and fluids as prescribed, including blood products.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Compliance / Notes
Completion of a pre-start orientation and training modules is required. On-site EKG exam on the first day of orientation must be passed to continue in the contract.
