Associate Dentist
Location: Birmingham, AL Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Weekend: Weekend opportunities available Pay: $500/day or 30% of collections, whichever is higher Sign-On Bonus: Available for full-time candidates
We are seeking an experienced Associate Dentist for a full-time or part-time opportunity in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dental experience and provide high-quality, patient-centered general dental care. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative care.
- Perform procedures including extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic dental systems.
- Follow HIPAA, infection control, and state dental regulations.
- Practice effective four-handed dentistry and collaborate with the dental team.
- Maintain a high standard of patient safety, comfort, and quality of care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatment techniques.
Requirements
- Active Alabama Dental License.
- Minimum 1 year of dental experience.
- New graduates are not being considered for this position.
- DEA registration/certification and Controlled Substance Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Experience with general dentistry procedures, including restorative dentistry, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants.
- Familiarity with electronic dental records and dental terminology.
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety.
Compensation & Benefits
- $500 per day or 30% of collections, whichever is higher.
- Sign-on bonus available for full-time candidates.
- 401(k) available after 1 year.
- Paid malpractice insurance after 1 year.
- Up to $5,000 in paid continuing education (CE) after 1 year.
