Travel Nurse - Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) providing comprehensive perioperative patient care in a surgical setting. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environment, ensuring readiness of instruments and equipment. Assist in patient positioning, safety, and comfort before and during surgery. Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and specimen handling following protocols. Monitor patient condition, document changes, and communicate with the surgical team. Adhere to infection control, safety, and facility policies, including PPE usage. Participate in room turnover, cleaning, restocking, and ensuring compliance with standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of one year recent OR RN experience. Valid RN license and current BLS certification. Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures. Proficiency in reading, writing, and following instructions. Ability to work under pressure, maintain focus, and collaborate effectively.
