Job Title: Progressive Die Operator – Metal Stamping Facility Location: Louisville, KY Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (Based on experience) Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site Company Overview: Allegiance Staffing is hiring a Progressive Die Operator for a reputable metal stamping facility in Louisville, KY. This facility includes an on-site tool and die shop, supporting production and repairs in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. We're looking for a skilled machine operator who takes pride in precision, safety, and continuous improvement.

Position Overview: The Progressive Die Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping presses, performing die changes, conducting quality checks, and ensuring efficient production flow. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal stamping operations, including the use of progressive dies, CNC machines, and hand tools.

• Operate and monitor presses, welders, cranes, and forklifts.
• Conduct daily safety checks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform die changes and assist with tool setup and maintenance.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections (PQI, SPC, etc.).
• Identify, document, and resolve production and quality issues.
• Train other operators as needed and maintain documentation.
• Tag and move parts, containers, and totes to correct locations.
• Process coil paperwork and track part counts.
• Remove scrap from press area and ensure scrap handling compliance.
• Assist quality and maintenance teams with production issues.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating progressive dies in a stamping facility.
• Ability to read work instructions, safety guidelines, and blueprints.
• Comfortable working independently and following production schedules.
• Solid communication skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn).
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 10–50 lbs., stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
• Maintain excellent attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to work in dusty, noisy, non-climate-controlled environments.
