Revenue Cycle Specialist Front-End

Position Front-End Revenue Cycle Specialist – Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. Location & Schedule Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA Hours: 24 hours per week Shift: Evening shift, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm with weekend and holiday rotation Compensation Sign‑on bonus: $600 for new hires (eligible for rehired after 1 year)* Pay rate based on experience, USD $17.86 – $28.76 per hour Benefits Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Generous earned time off package Employee wellbeing program 403(b) retirement plan with company match Tuition assistance and federal loan forgiveness programs Professional growth opportunities and customized leadership training Responsibilities Handle patient registration, insurance verification, pre-registration, and point-of-service collections. Ensure accurate patient data and educate patients on financial responsibilities. Provide financial counseling referrals, Medicare compliance (IM & MOON forms), valuables management, and morgue coordination. Deliver customer service, regulatory compliance, and collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams. Provide on-site coverage at public arrival desks and the Emergency Department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred. Medical Terminology Certificate preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, including medical-based programs; proficiency with Word, Excel. Over three years of related health care experience with third‑party payers preferred. CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) encouraged. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or exempt for medical or personal reasons with a signed statement.
