What You'll Do:
- Perform mobile digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography exams accurately at various healthcare facilities including nursing homes and clinics.
- Unload, set up, and operate portable XRay equipment, ensuring high-quality, clinically diagnostic images.
- Transmit images securely to radiologists for interpretation.
- Conduct EKGs as required, and transmit results to cardiologists.
- Manage exam paperwork and billing documentation according to protocol.
- Maintain and troubleshoot portable XRay equipment and vehicle.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, and healthcare staff.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment and vehicle safety.
What You Need:
Required:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- Valid state license or eligibility
- Ability to perform accurate, technically sound XRay exams
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment (50-100 lbs.) with proper safety measures
Preferred:
- Prior experience in mobile radiology or healthcare environment
- Knowledge of digital radiography equipment and transmission protocols
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
