CGP: AP Clerk

Century Group is partnering with our client in Orange County, a fast-paced and growing manufacturing company that is seeking a AP Clerk for a temp-to-hire, or direct hire opportunity. This is a fully onsite position within Orange County. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reporting by preparing accounts payable documentation and reports.
• Support month-end closing by reconciling accounts payable and identifying outstanding items.

• Have 2-4+ years of experience in accounts payable, with a strong focus on financial processing.
• Possess accounts payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formula functions.
• Show the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Exhibit familiarity with ERP or accounting systems used in financial processing.

• Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
