Bartender

Bartender / Beverage Team Members are responsible for delivering friendly, efficient, and responsible alcohol service while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area. This role includes serving guests, supporting food service as needed, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service and safety regulations. Team Members in this position are expected to provide prompt, professional service while creating a positive guest experience. Skills, Requirements & Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess or have the ability to obtain a MAST Class 12 Server Permit by hire date Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Washington State Food Handler’s Card Prior bartending or serving experience preferred Strong guest service and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays General Duties & Responsibilities Guest Service Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service to guests Follow all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines outlined in the Team Member Handbook Safety & Compliance Support Wild Waves’ safety-first culture by maintaining a safe and responsible service environment Follow all alcohol service laws, regulations, and park policies Teamwork Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leadership to support park operations Maintain a clean and sanitary bar environment for guests and team members Perform cleaning duties as needed using approved tools and supplies Specific Duties & Responsibilities Beverage Service: Greet guests and serve wine, bottled beer, and draft beer while processing payments through the point-of-sale system Food Support: Assist kitchen staff as needed with preparation and service of snack foods Bar Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar equipment including kegs, tap lines, blenders, and catch trays Alcohol Service Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service requirements including ID verification, drink limits, and health and safety standards as outlined by park policy, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, and the Washington State Department of Health Responsible Service: Monitor guest consumption and prevent over-service; notify Security or management as necessary Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, control waste and shrinkage, and ensure alcohol is properly secured Transactions: Process cashless and credit transactions in accordance with policies and procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, guest seating, and back-of-house spaces Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned based on department and park needs Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and lifting Occasional climbing or balancing Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Work is primarily outdoors and subject to varying weather conditions Noise levels may range from moderate to high Reasonable accommodations may be provided to support team members in performing the essential functions of this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
