Phlebotomist Float Full Time

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Coverage for Denver Metro, Aurora, Englewood, Wheatridge, Lakewood, Littleton, and surrounding areas. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 9 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Experience with pediatric through geriatric patients for at least 9 months. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Additional Job Standards Certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work in fast paced, high volume environments. Be at least 21 years of age. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Compensation Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
