This flexible contract opportunity seeks passionate professionals to deliver in-person or remote instruction—tailoring support based on each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Afternoon, evening, and weekend hours offer the chance to create a schedule that fits your life.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a school setting, working directly with students in special education.
- Valid New Hampshire Department of Education Educator License, including a General Special Education endorsement.
- Successful completion of required state testing, such as Pearson Special Education and Foundations of Reading assessments.
- Deep knowledge of delivering specially designed instruction and related services per IEP requirements.
- Flexibility and professional collaboration skills to coordinate with families and district personnel.
- Preference for individuals available to provide in-person services, though remote work will be considered.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and implement individualized lesson plans that respond to each student’s strengths and needs.
- Deliver specially designed instruction and related services according to assigned IEPs.
- Communicate consistently with parents and guardians to arrange sessions and provide updates on progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation of student growth, attendance, and service delivery.
- Partner with district staff to ensure compliance and quality across all aspects of special education support.
