About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership for all aspects of information technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a large IT organization and playing a key role in major initiatives, including a significant ERP transformation, shaping the approach to AI and digital transformation, and strengthening data governance and cybersecurity. The CIO will be expected to foster a culture of collaboration, lead efforts to advance a culture of care and open accountability, and demonstrate a strong commitment to innovation and best practices. The role requires a visionary leader with a passion for driving innovation to advance student success, and the ability to manage, inspire, and lead a diverse team of IT professionals. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of management and leadership experience in information technology and information security, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, execution of IT solutions, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Key qualifications include excellent communication skills, experience in supervising technology personnel, and a strong customer service focus. The CIO will be pivotal in driving the company's operational excellence strategy and must have deep familiarity with AI trends, IT governance, cloud computing, and enterprise infrastructure. Experience in budget management, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead through transformative change, is essential.
