The Best Players Need the Best People.The Manager, National Sales & Service leads the PGA Tour’s centralized entry-level sales department (formerly known as Inside Sales), with responsibility for driving event revenue while developing the next generation of sales professionals across the organization.The position oversees recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management for the National Sales & Service team and is responsible for executing strategic B2B and B2C sales campaigns that support PGA Tour-operated and co-sponsored events. Success in this role is measured by revenue growth, team development, and the successful advancement of associates into revenue-producing positions throughout the PGA Tour. Primary responsibility includes recruitment, development, and supervision of the National Sales & Service team.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in related fieldFive to seven years prior experience in sales, sports, customer service or entertainment preferred. Prior supervisory skills preferredAdvanced computer skills required, including proficiency in Salesforce, TM Archtics, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication skillsGolf knowledge and interest preferred, but not mandatoryRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESDevelop and execute a strategy for targeting and engaging new sales prospects. Help sales associates identify and sell available ticket and hospitality inventory by generating leads using outbound and inbound calls, emails, virtual meetings, and networking events.Monitor weekly status of department staff for measuring productivity and results. Assist NSS staff with closing techniques and account management to ensure achievement of revenue goalsProfessionally communicate to gather all relevant details; communicate with supervisor and provide timely follow up.Enhance presentation and appointment presentations skills by ongoing coaching and supervisionConducts daily sales meetings to review activity and goals plus communicating updates on pending projects and eventsReviewing market analyses to determine customer needs and product interests throughout sales campaign. Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies for ticket and hospitality packagesCollaborate with marketing, tournament support, community management, product management and account management to facilitate new campaigns, and offeringsAssist with on-going training initiatives for current PGA Tour tournament sales representativesRecruit, hire, train and develop entry-level team on a weekly basisDevelop and encourage staff to pursue new tasks and challenges related to overall departmental goals and objectivesContribute to departmental operations, including staffing, budget management/ cost containment, and internal communicationSummaryLocation: Ponte Vedra Beach, FLType: Full time
