As a Pharmacist-in-charge, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations in both community and long-term care (LTC) settings, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient service. Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager, you will lead a small pharmacy team, manage medication supplies, interpret prescription orders, and apply your clinical expertise and knowledge of pharmacy software to deliver safe and efficient care. This position requires availability Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM, with closures on Sundays and major holidays. This position could be between three separate locations between Clermont and Dahlonega, GA.

Responsibilities
Oversee accurate medication dispensing across community and LTC pharmacy settings
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy laws
Provide patient counseling to optimize medication therapy
Manage inventory to maintain adequate medication supplies
Lead and mentor a small pharmacy team to enhance performance
Interpret and verify prescription orders for safety and accuracy
Conduct clinical reviews to support optimal patient outcomes
Utilize pharmacy software for efficient operations and documentation

Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Strong knowledge of medication dispensing, regulatory compliance, and patient counseling
Proficient in pharmacy software and inventory management
Effective team leadership and communication skills
Attention to detail with solid clinical knowledge
3+ years of experience in pharmacy practice (preferred)
