Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans for clients. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. \n
- Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Remain engaged in professional development and training opportunities to stay informed about the latest advances in mental health research and therapeutic practices. \n
As an LPC at Center Pointe, you will work predominantly with individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health services. Our clientele includes diverse populations facing various mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Your role will be critical in empowering clients by equipping them with the necessary tools for healing and growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. \n
- Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting. \n
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to build rapport with diverse clientele. \n
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technology used for documentation and client management. \n

- Experience or certification in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable. \n
- Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively within a healthcare team. \n

- Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and caseload availability. \n
