Breast Sonographer

Breast Sonographer at The Breast Center of Greensboro Imaging Applicant MUST have active ultrasound certification in (BR or BS) and be in good standing or must be willing to become certified within 90 days of employment. Description The Sonographer provides quality care to patients undergoing Ultrasound procedures. Demonstrates full knowledge of Ultrasound procedures and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate the patient experience by greeting patients, explaining pre and post procedure instructions, and verifying patients identity. Utilize AIDET Principles in all patient and provider encounters.Perform ultrasound exams using proper protocols and positioning techniques, transporting patients safely, verifying accuracy of orders and documenting patient information.Document the patients exam through data entry, report retrieval, scanning and recording the exam details in the electronic medical record system.Conduct environmental and safety procedures including cleaning and sterilizing the exam room and equipment.
