BayCare is currently in search of our newest Outpatient Occupational Therapist Pool/PRN who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Bardmoor Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with a strong background in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation to join our specialized orthopedic care team. Our experienced and compassionate team tailors each rehabilitation program to suit your unique needs so that you can reach your maximum potential.

Occupational Therapist (Pool) Responsibilities:

• The OT will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to improve function, independence, and quality of life for patients with neurological conditions and/or upper extremity injuries or dysfunction.
• Perform thorough evaluations of diverse clientele.
• Use standardized assessment tools to measure motor function, sensation, coordination, range of motion, and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
• Identify clients' functional goals and develop personalized treatment plans based on findings.
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focused on improving fine motor skills, strength, dexterity, coordination, cognition, and ADLs.
• Fabricate and/or recommend appropriate orthotics/splints for upper extremity support or protection.
• Provide therapeutic activities, neuromuscular reeducation, and task-specific training for upper limb function and neuro recovery.
• Incorporate adaptive equipment and modifications as needed to promote safety and independence.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OT (Occupational Therapy)
• Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain

Education:

• Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
• Preferred Master's Occupational Therapy
• Preferred Doctorate's Occupational Therapy

Experience:

• Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy
