Service Assistant

:

Purpose Performs a full range of administrative support duties for the Service Department including but not limited to running reports, closing repair orders, answering phones, filing, copying, and greeting customers as well as taking payments from customers for services. Answers and directs phone calls received to appropriate personnel. Essential Duties

• Answer incoming calls
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a positive and empathetic understanding of customers needs
• Detail oriented, yet capable of fast, efficient processing of information and data using company systems and software
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification
• Receives visitors and telephone calls ensuring these individuals are directed to the proper parties
• Fields customer inquiries to proper department personnel
• Maintains proper filing of department records
• Other duties as assigned
