Oncology Registered Nurse
The Oncology Registered Nurse provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. This role supports patients through assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and coordinated care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Shift: 0.6 FTE, Night Shift
- Employment Type: Full-Time with full benefits package
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to oncology patients during the night shift.
- Perform ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Administer chemotherapy, medications, and IV therapies safely in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, document progress, and report changes promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain safety standards, infection control, and accurate patient records.
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License at the time of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
