About the Role As a CBRE Procurement Technology Director, you will assist with providing strategic vision and supervision to the department responsible for supporting the CBRE Procurement Technology platform. This role is part of the Business Systems Job Function. They are responsible for working with internal partners and business units to develop, install and enhance new and current systems. What You’ll Do Lead, mentor, and formally supervise employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team. Drive performance excellence through comprehensive evaluations, targeted coaching, and strategic talent development initiatives. Orchestrate the full recruitment and hiring lifecycle, ensuring the attraction and retention of top-tier talent. Strategically coordinate and optimize daily team operations, meticulously establishing work schedules, task assignments, and comprehensive cross-training programs. Champion accountability by setting and rigorously tracking critical deadlines for both individual staff and departmental objectives, providing expert mentorship and coaching as needed. Lead the continuous review and enhancement of systems and processes, ensuring superior service delivery to internal stakeholders. Flawlessly execute departmental internal controls, financial policies, and procedures, meticulously managing projects to ensure adherence to cost and time constraints while providing insightful performance and status reports to senior management. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key technology vendors, optimizing partnerships for mutual benefit and strategic advantage. Actively contribute to the sales team\'s efforts, aggressively pursuing new small to medium-sized business ventures. Expertly develop compelling RFP responses and deliver persuasive sales pitches to showcase innovative technology solutions. Strategically manage and forecast annual departmental budgets, driving financial performance through astute budgeting, rigorous evaluation, and insightful interpretation of business trends. Facilitate seamless platform implementation during new client transitions, adeptly allocating resources and collaborating closely with clients to validate and exceed service delivery expectations. Leverage a robust, multidisciplinary knowledge base, deep business acumen, and a keen understanding of key drivers to significantly impact departmental and cross-functional performance. Proactively identify and resolve complex, multi-dimensional operational and organizational challenges by strategically deploying appropriate internal and external resources. Establish and rigorously uphold high service level expectations for the support of standard technology platforms, ensuring consistent excellence. Strategically coordinate system strategies with field management, accounting, other client support groups, and senior business leaders to achieve synergistic objectives. Proactively review and refine existing and proposed systems and procedures, implementing impactful changes that guarantee consistent delivery of superior-quality services. Pioneer and implement significant improvements to existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline, driving innovation and efficiency. Exemplify and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, inspiring and influencing managers and colleagues to drive action guided by organizational business plans. Masterfully negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of diverse interests to achieve common, mutually beneficial goals. What You’ll Need Bachelor\'s Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Ability to apply robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business and key drivers which impact departmental and cross functional performance. Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Demonstrated expertise in emerging AI and large language model (LLM) technologies, including use case development, prompt engineering, and the application of AI solutions to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. A genuine people person with exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to partner with stakeholders globally to conceptualize solutions, align business needs, and drive meaningful outcomes.
