  • License/Certs: Active CA medical license, DEA, BLS, BC or BE within 3-5 years of residency
  • Experience: 2+ years inpatient case logs, oncology experience preferred

What You'll Do

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care
  • Respond to after-hours calls (1 out of every 3 weeks) via phone onlyno onsite call-backs
  • Participate in clinic procedures, consultations, and patient follow-ups
  • Manage chemotherapy treatments and coordinate with hospital teams
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly
  • Support resident education and contribute to clinical improvement efforts

What You Need

  • Active California medical license and DEA registration
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
  • At least 2 years of inpatient clinical activity in cancer care
  • BLS certification
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

About the Assignment

Join a reputable facility in Eureka offering a comprehensive hematology and oncology program attached to a chemo treatment center and hospital. The facility manages approximately 500 analytic cases annually. Providers will be responsible for both outpatient clinics and inpatient care, with flexible scheduling designed to promote work/life balance.
