Jack in the Box Assistant Manager: Store 3248 Murrieta, CA 92562 — $20.00 — $24.00 per hour — full time Job Description Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC), and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal service, external service, and build restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees; monitors staffing levels; implements training systems; identifies internal candidates for management; creates a friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment; treats all employees with care and respect; motivates high performance; ensures compliance with all labor laws. External Service: Manages daily activities to achieve operational excellence; ensures guests receive exceptional experience; trains employees for consistent guest service and food quality; monitors adherence to safety requirements; handles guest concerns promptly; maintains brand image. Higher Profits: Partners with the Restaurant Manager to analyze performance reports and implement action plans; uses data to improve business results; monitors costs and budget adherence; protects the brand. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in a customer service environment (must be 100% certified in all workstations) or minimum 3 years as an Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Must be at least 18 years old; complete Assistant Manager training and obtain ServSafe certification; speak, read, and write in English; strong interpersonal and analytical skills; basic math proficiency; self‑starter; computer literacy; valid driver’s license with insurance and use of personal vehicle. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk 85–95% of shift; lift 10–65 lbs; move freely; operate equipment and a vehicle; use a computer keyboard.
