Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid PA or compact license and demonstrate expertise in scrub and circulate roles, particularly within a Level I Trauma environment. The role requires versatility, as the nurse may float to the GI unit or Center One Surgery Center as needed.

This is a 13-week contract position.

DayShift: 4x10-Hour (08:45 AM - 07:15 PM)

Weekend Requirement: (2) Weekend Nights (8-12 hours depending on staffing)

Call Requirement: (1) Summer & (1) Winter Holiday (8-12 hours depending on staffing)

Perform nursing duties within the operating room setting, including pre-operative and post-operative care.

Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.

Monitor patient's vital signs and manage care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner charting system.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operating Room setting, preferably with trauma and liver/kidney procedures.

Current PA or compact Registered Nurse license.

Trauma certification is required.

BSN degree is mandatory.

Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
