Production Associate

Production Associate Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety‑oriented individuals to join our team as a Production Associate in our climate‑controlled facility in Jonestown, PA. Salary $22.50 per hour Shift differential: $1.00 per hour for shifts between 7 pm and 7 am Compensation can increase based on skills and contribution to plant performance Eligible for Performance Pay program, up to a 6% quarterly bonus Shift Works a Dupont schedule (rotating 12‑hour shifts). Days off between night and day rotations. Shifts: 6:45 am‑7 pm and 6:45 pm‑7 am Only candidates who can work this schedule will be considered Jonestown operates on a point‑based attendance program Our Team Georgia‑Pacific’s Mailers is part of the Packaging and Cellulose business, expanding its product lines and creating new products with key customers. What You Will Do Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets Monitor and enter data into computer control systems Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals Operate and/or work around mobile equipment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, military environment, or completion of post‑high‑school education in manufacturing/industrial Requires rotating 12‑hour shifts with a 7‑day break in every 28‑day period What Will Put You Ahead Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device One (1) year or more experience working in manufacturing and/or industrial environment Experience in the corrugated packaging industry Other Considerations/Physical Requirements Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment Perform tasks such as lifting up to 45 lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing/pulling for up to 12 hours a day in a loud/noisy industrial environment Benefits Our benefits plan includes medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, infertility assistance, paid parental leave, and adoption assistance.
