Clinical Manager (Hybrid – Tampa, FL )

Job Title: Clinical Manager
Compensation: $44,000 - $50,000 annually
Location: 6911 Pistol Range Rd, Tampa, FL 33635
Work Environment: Hybrid – Tampa, FL (employees will work onsite at the Tampa office and remotely from a HIPAA-compliant home workspace).

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a licensed healthcare professional with proven team management experience to lead a regional care coordination team. The ideal candidate excels at coaching, performance management, and building high-performing teams in fast-paced healthcare environments. You bring strong knowledge of care coordination, chronic conditions, and healthcare operations—and you know how to drive results while fostering a supportive, accountable team culture. You’ll partner closely with Clinical Directors, HR, and regional leadership on talent development and strategic decisions.

 

What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Culture

• Lead and oversee the performance of Care Coordinators within your region.
• Create and maintain a workplace culture consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Empower employees to take responsibility for their roles and goals.
• Foster teamwork and unity within assigned teams.

Performance Management & Coaching

• Monitor daily metrics and investigate causes of lowered productivity.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and development to care coordinators.
• Conduct performance reviews (90-day and annual).
• Schedule weekly 1:1s with Care Coordinators.
• Administer corrective action forms and performance improvement plans in collaboration with HR and Clinical Directors.

Operations & Team Meetings

• Lead team meetings to review performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance transparency.
• Lead opportunity for improvement (OFI) meetings.
• Participate in monthly planning meetings with Clinical Directors to review production, patient allocation, and quality metrics.
• Participate in all scheduled director and clinical manager calls and meetings.

Staffing & Administration

• Manage staffing and scheduling for your team.
• Coordinate EMR access for new hires.
• Maintain timecards and approve PTO requests in a timely manner.
• Partner with HR to resolve conflicts and provide care coordinators with support.
• Escalate issues to Clinical Directors as needed.

 
Required Qualifications

• Currently certified, credentialed, or licensed healthcare professional.
• Proven experience managing a healthcare team.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology, chronic conditions, and care coordination.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Zoom.
• Ability to develop trusting relationships with staff, patients, and partner practices.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Strong communication, organizing, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience in healthcare settings.
• Experience with performance management and team development.
• Familiarity with care coordination platforms or EMR systems.
• Background in chronic care management or similar care models.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives.

Work Environment & Requirements

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Tampa, FL.
• High-speed broadband internet and private home workspace required
  • Candidates must complete a company-provided internet speed test to confirm a minimum of 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.
