Two exciting contract opportunities are available—one in a traditional elementary setting working with K–5 students, and the other in a specialized school serving K–12 students with disabilities and unique communication needs. Qualifications and Preferred Experience

• Current, active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in school-based settings desired.
• For the elementary role: experience with K–5 populations and managing IEPs.
• For the specialized setting: background working with students with complex, low-incidence disabilities, including knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Confident in conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and delivering direct/consultative therapy.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned students.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the development of effective, individualized IEPs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and participate in IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress tracking, and communication with educators and families.
• Deliver both individual and group interventions tailored to student needs.
