What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care for hematology, medical oncology, BMT, gynecologic, and surgical oncology patients
• Assist with bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
• Manage medications using barcode medication administration and IV pumps
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies during night shifts
• Support weekday and weekend coverage as part of the patient care team
• Act as a resource for first-time travelers and navigate float requirements

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 1 year recent RN experience in oncology or related specialty
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

Preferred:

• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification
• Epic EMR experience
