Positional Overview

Are you a skilled Quality Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Supervisor to join their team in a direct hire role where your experience and attention to detail will make a real impact. The Production Supervisor manages production during a given shift—overseeing the staff, ensuring quality control, monitoring equipment, and handling all other day-to-day aspects of production at the Fort Mill, South Carolina facility.

Role & Responsibility:

Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success

• Manage daily performance of QC staff
• Responsible for leading, motivating, and training QC personnel to meet or exceed department and company goals and objectives
• Lead or assist in Quality department projects as assigned by Management and assist Engineering and Manufacturing with projects, as appropriate
• Investigate root cause of customer complaints and initiate/complete corrective action, as appropriate
• Propose, promote and champion actions to improve quality, processes and product
• Eliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutions
• Maintain ISO based quality systems
• Implement and manage systems to complete statistical analyses and control of all products including raw materials, WIP materials, non-conforming products, and finished goods
• Ensure customer requirements are met
• Devise ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
• Actively drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using all available tools and technologies
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Develop and present KPI reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors degree in STEM, related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years in Quality Assurance
• 5 years in PV manufacturing or another PV-related field, preferred
• 5 years in Supervision/Management preferred

• Knowledge of all PV related certification including but not limited to; UL1703, IEC 61215, IEC61730-1, IEC61730- 2
• Knowledge in working with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma methodologies and Total Quality fundamentals
• Proficient in Excel
