ID: 63573211 Shift: 07:00-19:00 Description: Description:6/8/2026 - 3 OPEN POSITIONS - 2 OFFERS MADEBILL RATE: $75SHIFT: DAYS 7A-7PExperience: knowledge and recovery of post cardio thoracic surgery fresh out of OR, IMPELLA, Ballon Pump, Artic sun,TABLO XT/ CRRT and High acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and drips.Previous experience with Epic preferredSummary:ThecompetentNurse,inthesameorsimilarclinicalsetting,practicesindependentlyanddemonstratesanawarenessofallrelevantaspectsofasituation.Providesroutineandcomplexcare,withtheabilitytoonlong-rangegoalsorplans.Continuestodeveloptheabilitytocopewithandmanagecontingenciesofclinicalnursing.Makesappropriateassignmentsanddelegatestoothercareprovidersasameanstohelpmanagetheclinicalsituation.Responsibilities:MeetsexpectationsoftheapplicableOneCHRISTUSCompetencies:LeaderofSelf,LeaderofOthers,orLeaderofLeaders.ConsistentwiththeANAScopeandStandardsofPractice,providesnursingcareutilizingthenursingprocess,includingassessment,diagnosis,planning,interventionandevaluationforassignedpatients.Addressesincreasinglycomplexpsychological,emotional,cultural,andsocialneedsofpatientandfamiliesinaccordancewiththeirlevelofpractice.Usingtheappropriateprotocol,administersmedicationsandtreatments;monitorsforside-effectsandeffectivenessofthetreatmentprescribed.Documentspatienthistory,symptoms,medication,andcaregiven.Assesslearningneedsandprovideseducationtopatients,familymembersand/orcaregivers;identifyissuesandresources.JobRequirements:Education/SkillsBachelorofScienceDegreeinNursing,preferredExperience1yearofexperienceintherelatednursingspecialtypreferredLicenses,Registrations,orCertificationsCurrentBLScertificationrequired (AHA only)CurrentACLScertificationrequired (AHA only)RNLicenseinstateofTX orcompactPositionRequirements:Education/Skills AllnewlyhiredexperiencedRNsmustattendNewNursesOrientationwithinthefirst30daysofhire.
