Material HandlerThis position requires proficiency in operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. The primary responsibility is to move staged goods and pallets, handle product put-away, load and unload products from trucks, and assist in distributing products to various departments as needed. While the majority of the time will be spent on a forklift, some tasks may require manual handling.ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move goods and pallets.Conduct product put-away after staging.Load and unload products from trucks.Distribute products to various departments within the facility.Occasionally perform manual handling tasks as needed.Essential SkillsProven experience in operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.Previous forklift certification and warehouse or distribution experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Strong attention to detail.Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with RF scanners.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Why Work Here?As a permanent employee, you will receive $25,000 in equity that vests over four years. Candidates will primarily work in the warehousing side of the facility.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southaven, MS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.50 - $28.50/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
