Exciting Opportunity for Cardiac Catheterization Lab Techs!

Job Description:


- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
- Minimum Experience: 2 years (1st timers not accepted)
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
- General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:
- Patient Diagnoses include:
- Diagnostic cath
- PCI
- Orbital atherectomy
- IABP
- Impella
- Device implants
- No EP studies or ablations
- EKG Settings and Experience required
- Obtaining vitals
- Rhythm interpretation (sinus node rhythms required)
- Pacemakers preferred
- Required Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, CSI
- Ratio / Census:
- 3 Rooms with 5 Beds
- Average daily census of 8-10
- Unit Systems:
- Epic (Required)
- Pyxis
- SBAR
- Merge (Preferred)
- Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified
- Floating: Yes, within department and facility, possible to float to sister campus
- Call Requirements: 12-15 day/month, 2 weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the pushback is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
- Clinical Screen: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit; if clinical pass and within guidelines, candidate sent to the manager for the final decision.

- Maintain sterile field as room circulator
