We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for an international school based in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year starting in August 2026.About the SchoolThis private K to 12 bilingual school in Minhang District, Shanghai is part of a larger education group and is led by a team of both international and Chinese educators, focused on developing globally minded students and helping them reach their potential. The school offers a bilingual, integrated curriculum across all stages, including IB in primary, a blended programme in middle school, and IGCSE and A Level pathways in high school. It is also an IB Primary Years Programme candidate and is working toward full IB authorization.Job detailsServe as the homeroom teacher for a primary class, delivering the core curriculum (such as English, Maths, and Science) and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experiencePrepare lessons and learning resources, apply effective teaching strategies, and design and mark assessments as well as write report commentsTake responsibility for the daily care, wellbeing, and classroom management of your homeroom students, fostering a positive and inclusive class communityCollaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculumAssess and monitor students' progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improveProvide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers, and act as their main point of contactDevelop supportive and safe learning environmentsRequirementsBachelor's degree in related fieldMinimum 2 years of full-time working experience in bilingual setting Experience with PYP is a plusSalary and benefitsMonthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with qualifications and experienceMonthly housing allowance of 6,000 RMBFull medical insuranceAnnual flight allowanceSummer and winter holidaysPublic holidays
