Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehab team. The successful candidate will have the initiative and knowledge essential for effective patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality therapy services to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Deliver therapy interventions aimed at promoting patient independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and contributing to the therapeutic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends (minimum of 2 per 4-week period expected).
