A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support medication dispensing and patient care in a dynamic retail setting. This per diem role offers daytime shifts on select dates with a manageable schedule that allows flexibility.

Location:

• Long Island City, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• Days: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Specific shifts: July 2 and July 7

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, potential drug interactions, and patient safety
• Provide counseling and medication advice to patients ensuring clear communication of proper use
• Utilize Enterprise RX computer system to manage prescriptions and patient profiles efficiently
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy license
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail or clinical setting
• Proficient in using pharmacy computer systems, preferably Enterprise RX
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
